Therapy Dogs
A therapy dog is specially trained to visit other environments, such as libraries, hospitals or schools, to provide comfort and affection. Our therapy certification program partners with Alliance of Therapy Dogs.

The present is a great time for you to consider providing therapy for those who desire a visit from a loving animal. The Salem Hospital, Willamette Vital Health, Oregon State Hospital, and other organizations are all in need of therapy providers. The process is simple to become a certified team.
Eric Schuman and his dogs are certified therapy providers and is an official tester/observer for Alliance of Therapy Dogs (ATD). Eric works in partnership with JLAD to head up the certification process for us. You can now become certified at any time. There are four easy steps; click below to begin your therapy dog certification today!
If you have questions about the Therapy Dog program, Eric is happy to assist you.
